A: It is authentically reported from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)in the Two Sahih (authentic) Books of Hadith (i.e. Al-Bukhari and Muslim)that he (peace be upon him) said: "Allah created Adam in His own image." In a narration by Ahmad and some scholars of Hadith, the same Hadith reads: "in the image of Al-Rahman (the Most Merciful)".
